If you write well enough for the search engines with keyword rich, high quality content you can paint the entire first page for a particular keyword. Which, in essence, means tons of free targeted traffic for you. Another marketing method that works quite well is forum marketing. A lot of people neglect this source of traffic for some reason even though it is quite effective. The first step is to join a forum that is related to your niche. The next thing you should do is start posting on threads that people are writing about in the forum. You can also ask questions and people will answer you. This is a great way to find out what people really want and need in your niche. And you can cater to their needs to make money. After you make around 25 posts, place a link in the signature box of your posts back to your website. When people see that you are a credible source of information, they will want to see what else you have to offer and will click on their own. You don't need to ask them to do it.
