A Flawless Affiliate Marketing Free Traffic Strategy
A marketing strategy is your way of getting targeted traffic to where you are on the Internet. There are many ways you can get visitors and there is not just one method that works. Instead, you need to develop your website and determine which traffic generating method is right for you and your online business.
Here is the method that I use and I find very useful for my website that I would like to share with you. This marketing strategy is called article marketing. The benefit of this strategy is that it costs no money up front and your work can spread viral over the web in a matter of hours. Even if you can't write, article marketing is cheaper than other forms of advertising.
I will break this down into ... easy steps for you to follow.
- Write 30 articles or have them written for you.
- Submit the first 10 articles to EzineArticles.com and once they are approved apply for the Platinum account. You will then be able to submit more than 10 articles at a time from now on.
- Create a lens on Squidoo and post the next 5 articles on the lens.
- Create a hub at HubPages.com and post 5 articles on it.
- Submit the final 10 articles to a variety of article directories. If you use iSnare.com, they provide a article distribution service that will submit your articles to hundreds of directories for $2 a piece.
Search engines love all of these sources and will also index your articles. If you write well enough for the search engines with keyword rich, high quality content you can paint the entire first page for a particular keyword. Which, in essence, means tons of free targeted traffic for you.
Another marketing method that works quite well is forum marketing. A lot of people neglect this source of traffic for some reason even though it is quite effective. The first step is to join a forum that is related to your niche.
The next thing you should do is start posting on threads that people are writing about in the forum. You can also ask questions and people will answer you. This is a great way to find out what people really want and need in your niche. And you can cater to their needs to make money.
After you make around 25 posts, place a link in the signature box of your posts back to your website. When people see that you are a credible source of information, they will want to see what else you have to offer and will click on their own. You don't need to ask them to do it. They are already pre-sold on whatever product or service you are promoting.
There are many ways to get targeted traffic to your website. You just need to first develop a marketing strategy that gets them there and follow it at all times.
